“Learning
is not attained by chance; it must be sought for with
ardour and attended to with diligence.” I am
proud to present the current batch of professional
youngsters whose knowledge is blended with strong
value system and ethics. We constantly endeavor to
create leaders who can accept challenging tasks with
full motivation and confidence. I am sure that they
will carve out their way to success & will take
their organization to the newer heights.
The fundamental objective of this integrated MBA Programme
is to equip the students with sharp business acumen
& to epitomize entrepreneurship with adequate
vision, motivation & learning approach. This course
provides the understanding about the intricacies of
managing in its entirety and its application to the
corporate issues.
K.S.School of Business Management provides its MBA
students with rigorous training and a through teaching
for 5 years which open up the horizons of opportunities
for career development. I wish all the students in
the graduating batch of 2008 to find appropriate placement

Message |

There
is only one success that is to be able to spend your
life in your own way. Always try to put extra energy
to strive for highest standards in any journey. We
have tried to inculcate the same attitude in every
students of our school. In this modern and customized
world, it is necessary for every student to understand
the importance of communication skill, intense effort
and dignity of labour. We are confident that our students
are ready to shoulder new responsibilities with dedication
and skillful execution.
For Fourteen golden years, K. S. School of Business
Management has been standing firmly rooted, distinctively
different in its unique features by offering a Five
Year Integrated Programme in Business Management,
one of its only kinds in Gujarat. Our School attracts
the crème students after their higher secondary.
Therefore the input is very bright and vibrant and
thus can be transformed into an energetic, enthusiastic
set of young managers with the right type of attitude
and integrity. With the intensive learning of management
concepts for five years, they can easily adopt into
any organization. We cordially invite you to participate

| Programme
Architecture |
| |
Master
of Business Administration (MBA) |
The
Five year Integrated MBA Programme combines both under-graduate
and post-graduate courses of Business Management. The academic
year spans from July to April. A student successfully completing
the programme for three years is awarded the BBA degree
and the student automatically moves to the fourth year of
the MBA programme without going through any further admission
process. The fourth and fifth year of the programme consist
of post-graduate courses of Business Management and spread
across four semesters, focus on the practical aspects. On
successful completion of these two years of the programme,
the students are awarded the MBA degree by the Gujarat University.An
innovative feature of this programme is that the students
enrolling for it can also simultaneously pursue a Diploma
Course in Computer Applications (DCA) which provides skills
in computer programming and other computer applications.
After successful completion of the course of three years
of theoretical and practical training, the student will
be awarded the Diploma in Computer Applications (DCA). |

Summer
Training |
At
the end of the fourth year, the students are sent for summer
training for a minimum period of eight weeks. It is an integral
part of the curriculum and it’s successful completion
is a pre requisite for continuation of the programme. During
this period, the students are expected to observe the organizational
dynamics and work on the project related to a specific topic.
On completion of their training students are required to
submit a detailed Project Report. The students are then
evaluated by conducting a Viva by Panel of Faculty. |

Grand
Project |
In
the fourth semester, the students are required to undertake
a grand project. It is also an integral part of the whole
curriculum. Here students get in-depth knowledge in the
fields of Marketing, Finance, emerging trends and general
administration. Location The school is situated in Ahmedabad
the largest city of Gujarat. The city can boast of its Manchester
like textile culture, its Charkha tradition of self reliance,
entrepreneurial spirit of Gujarat which comes almost genetically
to them. Located in green belt area of Gujarat University
Campus, The School Offers a combination of academic, cultural
and social tools to make learning an intellectual and soul
enriching experience. |

Infrastructure
|
The
school has well laid out campus situated in area of serene
and peaceful environment of the Gujarat University Campus.
The environment provides for stimulating intellectual alertness,
creativity and a burning desire for learning. The school
provides air conditioned class room fully equipped with
LCD projector, overhead projector and speaker system to
aid learning and create interactive sessions. The School
has a rich library with 1933 books, Project reports, 43
periodical journals, news papers, CDs and DVDs. Being part
of the Gujarat University, the students can access the central
Library of Gujarat University. The Computer center of school
is equipped with 150 computers. All computers are installed
with latest software. The Hostel accommodation is provided
to cater to outside students, separately for Boys &
Girls. |

Pedagogic
Approaches |
K.
S. students are exposed to plenty of opportunities to learn,
realize, explore and apply experimentally. The classroom
learning facilitates enough understanding of conceptual
aspects backed by an array of methods like Case Study Techniques,
Simulation Exercise, Role Play, Group Discussions, Live
Projects and Weekly Presentations. Hence course content
is based on a combination of theoretical concepts as well
as practical training. |
